Al Siraat College students, parents, staff and the wider community celebrated this year's Eid Al-Fitr with a lovely festival on the College grounds. Everyone agreed that the fair had a very community spirit.
Local produce like home-made hand warmers, organic bee wax candles, clothes and more were on sale as well as chocolate bars and Eid cards being sold as part of the Great Cycle Challenge fundraiser. Students ran a cake and hot drinks stall while staff maintained the popcorn machine. A local Karate Club displayed their talents on the ground.
Henna was applied and the children enjoyed the fun rides such as the Giant Slide, merry-go-round and jumping castles. The festival finished with a balloon race fundraiser.
