Friendly Soccer Matches against Epping Views

19 September 2017

Our Year 4 students travelled to our neighbouring school Epping Views on 7 September 2017 to play a friendly soccer match.

Our students were selected by their home room teachers. The teachers needed to look for students who follow the school values, as this was a reward for the students who have been working hard to do the right thing. The team had a great experience and this is the first time our Year 4’s have played a match against another school.

The week after, on 14 September 2017, we had our Year 5/6 Hifz class playing against Epping Views Primary School as well. You might have noticed that our Hifz boys have been practising their soccer skills in the area outside the cottage. They have been rehearsing playing positions and planned to implement strategies for future games such as this one they played. The boys looked the part and were very exciting to put their practice into action. Both teams played very well with a lot of chances to score from both ends of the field. The final score was 3-1 for Epping Views.

We would like to thank Epping Views PS for hosting the matches on their synthetic pitch and look forward to more friendly matches in the future, inShaAllah.
