Epping Road Upgrade: Current Disruptions

Road upgrades along Epping Road are entering their final stage, with crews now laying the last layer of asphalt between Craigieburn Road East and O’Herns Road. During this period, there will be temporary closures and detours affecting access to our school.

Epping Road Upgrade: Current Disruptions

Access to Al Siraat

Access during the day will be via Pine Park Drive and Saltlake Blvd (see attached map).

Key Disruptions

Harvest Home Road (east of Epping Road)

  • Closed from Mon 6 – Thu 9 October, 7am – 5pm
  • Detours via Pine Park Drive and Hayston Blvd (expect up to 10-minute delays)

Baltrum Drive

  • Closed from Tue 7 – Fri 10 October, 7am – 5pm
  • Detours via Pine Park Drive and Hayston Blvd

Upcoming Weekend Works

Craigieburn Road East / Lehmanns Road intersection

  • Closed from 8pm Fri 17 – 5am Mon 20 October
  • Detours via Bridge Inn Rd, Plenty Rd and Findon Rd (expect up to 30-minute delays)
  • Local access via Saltlake Blvd, Highpark Drive or Edgars Rd
  • Bus 390 will operate as normal

Lehmanns Road at Epping Road

  • Closed from 7pm Thu 16 – 5am Mon 20 October
  • Local traffic detours via Saltlake Blvd and Pine Park Drive

Ongoing Closures

  • Lyndarum Drive at Epping Road – until mid-October
  • Epping Road Service Road near Lyndarum Drive – until mid-October
  • Taggerty Grove left turn onto Epping Road – until mid-October
  • Park, Young and Hall Streets – until mid-November
