We are inviting students to participate in the ICAS program for 2018. The College already uses many forms of assessment including PAT testing, assignments, project work and formative assessments. Whilst this assessment program is not compulsory, it may benefit in identifying students who need their learning to be extended.
Why participate in ICAS?
- ICAS can help you discover student talents and student weaknesses.
- ICAS will not add extra workload to a student’s study or homework regime because it is an assessment they cannot study for. It evaluates thinking and problem-solving ability, not memory.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
If you would like your child to participate, please complete the permission slip and return it, with payment to the school no later than Friday, 23 March. PLEASE NOTE LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
