In the interests of safety for all road users, the College would like to call on all members of our school community to be extra mindful of construction activities along Harvest Home Rd and drive with greater caution during this time.
While the contractors acknowledge the inconvenience their construction works are creating for our school community, they have notified us that vehicles are continually observed speeding, without regard to the reduced speed limits or high volume of truck movements for construction activities in this area.
Epping Police has been informed about the matter and will enforce speed limits along Lehmanns and Bindts Roads are obeyed by issuing speeding fines.
Furthermore, please be reminded that we have a 10 km/h speed limit in our main driveway and carpark. Cars
have regularly been noticed doing excessive speeds in these areas, which is in breach of the College’s OHS policies and procedures.
Please ALWAYS put safety first and drive slowly, carefully and respectfully on your way to and from school at all times and abide to the current speed limits in place, or risk getting a speeding ticket.
