Winners Announced: Incinerator Action Group Poster Competition

The competition inspired an overwhelming response from students across our Primary School who submitted highly creative, thoughtful and visually impactful posters. With so many outstanding entries, selecting finalists was no easy task for our judging panel of more than ten staff members.

1st Prize Winner 

Sarim Siddiqui (Year 4): My Clean and Green Wollert 

Congratulations to Sarim who is our overall winner of the poster competition. His winning poster is now on display in the front of the College, proudly supported by Ray White Wollert.  

Sarim’s powerful artwork contrasts a clean and green Wollert with a future impacted by an incinerator. The imagery serves as a meaningful reminder of the importance of protecting our environment and preserving the wellbeing of our growing community. 

Congratulations to our three main runner-ups:

• 1st Runner-Up: Noriza Bukhari (Year 6G4) – “Clean Air, healthy future for Wollert”
• 2nd Runner-Up: Kabir Sheikh (Year 5B1) – “We Choose: Clean Air”
• 3rd Runner-Up: Abdul Basit Mubarak (Year 6B1) – “Breathe like your life depends on it"
