This term, the ASC Incinerator Action Group launched a special student poster competition aimed at raising awareness about the potential environmental impact of the proposed Wollert incinerator.
The competition inspired an overwhelming response from students across our Primary School who submitted highly creative, thoughtful and visually impactful posters. With so many outstanding entries, selecting finalists was no easy task for our judging panel of more than ten staff members.
Sarim Siddiqui (Year 4): My Clean and Green Wollert
Congratulations to Sarim who is our overall winner of the poster competition. His winning poster is now on display in the front of the College, proudly supported by Ray White Wollert.
Sarim’s powerful artwork contrasts a clean and green Wollert with a future impacted by an incinerator. The imagery serves as a meaningful reminder of the importance of protecting our environment and preserving the wellbeing of our growing community.
We sincerely thank all the students who participated in this competition. Your creativity, passion and commitment to environmental stewardship were truly inspiring.
