Families and community members looking for a colourful day out in Melbourne may wish to visit the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show, returning from Wednesday 25 March to Sunday 29 March 2026 at the beautiful Royal Exhibition Building and surrounding Carlton Gardens.
Recognised as the largest horticultural celebration in the Southern Hemisphere, the five-day event attracts more than 100,000 visitors each year and showcases spectacular garden designs, breathtaking floral displays, and creative outdoor living ideas. Visitors can explore show gardens, attend demonstrations and workshops, and browse a wide range of plants, garden products and lifestyle stalls.
Families are especially welcome, with interactive activities for children and free entry for kids under 16 (a free ticket must still be booked online).
