3 Oct: Faith, Ecology and Our Shared Planet Conference

11 August 2026

Australia’s biodiversity is under increasing pressure, but we do not have to face these challenges alone. People from diverse faith communities, cultures and ecological sciences will come together in Melbourne to listen, learn and explore how we can work together to care for our common home.

3 Oct: Faith, Ecology and Our Shared Planet Conference

The conference will provide an opportunity to listen, learn, reflect and grow in ecological consciousness. Participants will hear from experts in ecology and sustainability, explore responses from an interfaith panel and take part in workshops focused on practical collaboration.

  • Date: Saturday, 3 October
  • Time: 8.30 am to 5 pm
  • Venue: Melbourne Multicultural Hub, 506 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne

The gathering recognises the importance of Australia’s unique biodiversity and explores how people of faith and the sciences can work together, guided by First Nations wisdom, to protect our precious species and ecosystems before they disappear.
