Catch Up Vaccinations Reminder

Council of Whittlesea would like to remind our community that it is not yet too late to organise the catch up vaccinations for your child/children in Secondary School.

Please attend a Council session as listed in the attachment to organise the catch up vaccinations against the following deseases:

  • Year 7 students: Diphtheria, Tetanus and Whooping Cough and Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).

  • Year 10 students: Meningococcal ACWY vaccination. Having this vaccine is really important because adolescents are at increased risk of meningococcal disease and more likely to spread the disease to others. And although uncommon, meningococcal disease can become life-threatening very quickly. The vaccine is safe and effective but only free until the end of this year.

Don’t let your child miss out this year attend any session listed below at your earliest convenience.

If you have any further questions, please contact Team Immunisation at the City of Whittlesea on 9217 2475 or via email to teamimmunisation@whittlesea.vic.gov.au
