Whittlesea Council: Parent and student COVID-19 information

As you may be aware, the Victorian Government announced that every Victorian aged 16 years and over will be eligible to access a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine at state-run vaccination centres.

This change means that adolescents aged 16 to 17 are now able to receive the Pfizer vaccine, with both the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccine available to anyone aged 18 to 59 years.

Bookings can be made here or by phoning the Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398.

As soon as schools return to face to face learning, council will then be able to resume the Secondary School Immunisation Program to complete the Year 7 and Year 10 immunisation program. In the event students do not return to face to face learning, we will be updated of Council’s off-campus School immunisation sessions.

If you require further assistance relating to the COVID-19 vaccination or the Secondary School Immunisation Program, please email teamfamilyimmunisation@whittlesea.vic.gov.au or call 9217 2100
