Our Year 2 students got to experience an interactive and fun hands on incursion, hosted by friendly presenter Sophie from Mad About Science.
The students were engaged and entertained by learning about forces (Push and Pull). Students learnt about Issac Newton and his discovery of gravity and how friction affects force. They were able to make predictions and perform fun experiments where they needed to find the surface that made the toy car move faster or slower. Most of the students loved playing with the gyroscope and pulling the rip cord.
All students showed great enthusiasm and were proud to share their classroom science learning by answering and participating in the discussions.
