Last Friday evening, our Parents Friends Community (PFC) hosted their much-anticipated annual Sisters’ Iftar, bringing together sisters and children for a truly uplifting evening.
The program commenced with a beautiful recitation of the Qur’an by Year 8 student Jorry Suliman from Juz 22 (verses 33 –35), followed by a heartfelt du’a led by Ms Dania. Their sincere recitations set a reflective and spiritual tone for the gathering.
Alhamdulillah, approximately 150 sisters and children attended, filling the space with warmth, joy, and a strong sense of belonging. The purpose of the evening was to strengthen the bonds of ukhuwwah (sisterhood) within our community, a goal that was beautifully realised as sisters came together in faith and friendship.
A delightful spread of food was lovingly prepared and shared, featuring a variety of main courses, appetisers, and delicious desserts. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming as sisters broke their fast together, reconnected with familiar faces, and formed new friendships.
Alhamdulillah, the evening served as a powerful reminder of the blessings that come from gathering for the sake of Allah, nurturing unity, and building a strong, supportive community.
