The College leadership hosted an Appreciation Morning Tea to acknowledge the tireless contributions of our PFC (Parents and Friends Community) volunteers.
The session began with an opening du’a, followed by the recitation of Surah Ash Shura, verse 38, with its translation delivered by Co-President Sr Ayesha, and an Acknowledgement of Country by Co-President Sr Mona.
Sr Ayesha highlighted the role of PFC committee members and volunteers and the Board structure for 2026. New committee members for 2026 were announced bid farewell to one committee member. In addition, Sr Ayesha shared updates on the “Her Halaqah” program, a new initiative which aims to foster sisterhood and community bonding, supported by the PFC providing refreshments.
The PFC actively contributed to events such as the annual Fun Run, sausage sizzle, volunteer tea, and other school activities.
Planned programs for 2026 include
Volunteers received a gift bag from the College leadership, and the session concluded with a brief reminder on Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and the building of the Kaabah, followed by a delightful breakfast.
