Our Primary students once again put their spelling skills to the test this year as they participated in the 2026 Prime Minister’s Spelling Bee, a national online competition challenging students to demonstrate their spelling accuracy, vocabulary and speed.
We are especially proud to celebrate the wonderful achievement of Amal D. from Year 4, who has qualified as a State Finalist!
After successfully progressing through the School Round, Amal will now compete in the State Finals this week, placing her among the highest performing young spellers in Victoria. The State and Territory Finals are taking place from 31 August to 4 September, with the top students then progressing to the National Final.
MashaAllah, Amal! We are incredibly proud of this fantastic achievement and wish her the very best as she takes on the State Final. We will be cheering her on every step of the way!
Well done also to all our students who participated and embraced the challenge. Your enthusiasm, effort and love of words are something to be celebrated!
