Spelling Success: Primary Students Reach the State Finals

3 September 2026

Our Year 3 – 6 students recently took part in the annual Prime Minister’s Spelling Bee, challenging themselves to think quickly, apply their spelling knowledge and tackle a wide range of vocabulary.

Spelling Success: Primary Students Reach the State Finals

We are delighted to congratulate the following students who successfully progressed to the State Round:

  • Amal Dahir – 4B
  • Idris Faroqui – Hifz A
  • Mohammed Azry Muhammad Yunus – 5B1
  • Ayyub Syed – 6B2
  • Kainaat Bugvi – 6G4

Reaching the State Round is a wonderful achievement and reflects the effort, focus and confidence these students demonstrated. Opportunities like the Spelling Bee also help students build vocabulary, strengthen literacy skills and develop the confidence to perform under pressure.

Our finalists have certainly ‘spelled their way to success', and we are very proud to see them representing the College at the next stage of the competition.

We wish Amal, Idris, Mohammed Azry, Ayyub and Kainaat all the very best for the State Final.
