During the past year, I have worked closely with a group of students in developing Al Siraat’s first Literary Journal.
From wistful poetry to gripping fiction, the anthology showcases our students' best works in areas of literature and art. This edition of the Al Siraat Journal contains a mix of short fiction, contemporary poetry, creative non-fiction, interviews, reviews, student advice column and artworks.
I am incredibly proud of our students' talents and the sincere effort they put into developing this project. I encourage staff, students and the community to read and celebrate the diversity and depth of talent in our Al Siraat students.
Lastly, thank you to our graphic designer, Ms Salwa Osman, for developing the layout and design of the Journal and our remarkable student co-editor, Asmaa Dahir.
