Class of 2026: Last Day of School and Special SRC Tribute Assembly

21 October 2026

Last Friday, our Year 12 students celebrated the end of their official schooling journey at Al Siraat, marking a significant milestone filled with reflection, gratitude and excitement for the future.

Class of 2026: Last Day of School and Special SRC Tribute Assembly

For the first time, the Class of 2026 cohort gathered upstairs in our new VCE Building for their farewell celebrations, making the occasion even more memorable. The morning began with students spending time with their teachers, sharing fond memories, exchanging gifts and enjoying the traditional farewell cake together. Photographs and videos brought back special moments from their years at the College, providing an opportunity to reflect on the friendships and experiences that have shaped their journey.

Later in the day, the celebrations continued with the SRC Special Farewell Assembly, where the Secondary students from Years 9 to 11 and staff came together to honour the graduating cohort. The assembly included messages of encouragement from College leadership and teachers, reflections from the outgoing College Captains Halimah and Ismail, and recognition of the many ways our students have contributed to College life.

Special acknowledgement was given to the student leadership team, including House Captains, House Vice-Captains, Class Monitors, and Student Representative Council (SRC) members. Students who completed their Values-in-Action (VIA) voluntary service hours were also recognised for their commitment to serving others and contributing to the community.

Islamic reminders and du’as offered students spiritual encouragement as they prepare to move into the next chapter of their lives, carrying with them the knowledge, values and lessons gained throughout their time at Al Siraat.

As we farewell the Class of 2026, we thank our students for the memories they have created, the friendships they have built and the contributions they have made to our College community.

May Allah bless each of our graduates with beneficial knowledge, steadfast faith and success in their future endeavours, and guide them to become positive contributors to the wider community.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! You will always be part of the Al Siraat family, and we look forward to seeing all that you achieve in the years ahead.
