Al Siraat was very excited to having been part of the inaugural Adam Saad Schools Cup on last Wednesday, 19th October. The awesome football carnival was hosted by AFL Victoria and the Carlton Football Club and saw Year 5/6 students from multicultural schools come together to compete in a round robin tournament.
Al Siraat was selected as one of only 8 participating schools for the Cup which as held at La Trobe University. It was a great day for our College to come together and battle it out on the sports grounds.
There were free icy poles, poster giveaways and our team got to meet Adam Saad, even competing against him in a running race as well as a longest kicking contest.
It was a chance for our ASC players to get scouted on the day as they played exceptional and did our school community proud!
