On Friday, 3 March 2023, our Year 6 teams had their fifth weekly match, this time playing against Epping Views Primary School who had incredible sportsmanship and were a joy to play against.
Although Al Siraat had lots of optimism and had been training hard, our girls basketball team lost 24-2, and boys' basketball team had a close 14-12 loss. Both of our soccer teams were beaten by Epping Views 5-0.
Cricket Captain’s interview
Reporter Aasiya: "Selena, how do you feel about this week’s game?"
Captain Selena: "Nervous, with a 50:50 chance of winning. Epping Views has pretty good fielders and great sportsmanship."
Al Siraat was batting first but unfortunately, we also lost by 15 runs, with the boys' cricket team beaten as well.
