Our Student Representative Council (SRC) had organised and hosted the inaugural whole Secondary School assembly to farewell our Year 12 students on last Friday, 21st October 2022.
Speeches were made by Head of Secondary Mr Vis, Co-Principal Ms Rahat, Year 12 Homegroup teacher Mr Mohammed A. and Student Leadership Coordinator Ms Noori who all shared some valuable messages for our newly graduated Class of 2022 cohort.
Our outgoing 2022 College Captains Ismaeel Ambikapathy and Nur Naziihah Hafidi delivered valedictory speeches to the entire assembly of Secondary students and staff.
Student Council also presented awards to the outgoing Year 12 House Captains of 2022 and SRC members.
Sheikh Waseem delivered Islamic talk and blessed the Year 12’s in an emotional closing of ceremony du'a.
Student Leadership also made announcements regarding leadership positions opening up for next year, and announced our 2023 Al Siraat College Captains:
We would like to extend a warm welcome to Osama Akkad and Zainab Rida from our current Year 11 cohort as newly elected 2023 College Captains. They will commence their roles from this Term 4. Congratulations, Zainab and Osama!
