Whittlesea Community Connections (WCC) is seeking friendly Volunteer Drivers to help deliver fresh produce to families in need across the City of Whittlesea.
The role is available on Mondays, Tuesdays or Fridays between 9am and 3pm. A truck licence is not required, only a full driver’s licence. All training will be provided.
This is a great opportunity to:

The Kirrip Community Centre in Wollert is offering free English conversation classes for beginners, designed to help improve everyday language skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
Everyone is welcome. These classes are perfect for those new to English or wishing to strengthen their basic conversation skills.

A free information session is being held to support Arabic-speaking community members, particularly those on spouse or provisional visas, to understand their rights and the help available.
Do you know someone who is hesitant to report family violence due to fears around visa cancellation, deportation, or financial stress?
The session will be delivered in English with an Arabic interpreter present. Light refreshments will be provided. Non-Arabic speaking participants are also welcome to attend.

The City of Whittlesea’s popular Australian Bush Comfort and Confidence (ABCC) program is offering an overnight camping experience Saturday, 20 September to Sunday, 21 September at Camp Warringal.
Hosted by It’s Naturally You through the City of Whittlesea, this unique, hands-on camp is perfect for anyone new to camping or Australia, and for those wanting to gain the skills and confidence to explore local bushlands and beyond.
Participants will learn
- how to select a safe campsite
- set up a tent, build and manage a campfire
- cook outdoors
- navigate the bush
- stay safe around wildlife.
The program also includes night-time spotlighting for native animals, bush first aid tips, and storytelling with didgeridoo around the campfire.
Cost: $20–$40. Bookings are essential.
Enjoy the magic of sleeping under the stars in a safe, private bush campground, waking up to the sounds of birdsong. All essential comforts are provided, including a camp kitchen, toilets, showers, and tents or swags.

Splash’s Plenty Valley in South Morang is inviting enthusiastic students in Years 10 to 12 to join the swim teaching team.
Students aged 16 years and over who are reliable, energetic and enjoy working in a team are encouraged to apply. Shifts are available after school on weekdays, as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Swim teaching is a rewarding role that helps develop valuable communication and interpersonal skills while working with students of all ages and abilities. Splash’s offers a fun and dynamic work environment with great conditions, including:
