The Victorian Government has just approved a significant expansion of the proposed Wollert waste incinerator, making it twice as big as originally planned. This has raised deep concerns among local residents about the impact on our community’s health, environment, and future.

A Community Meeting has been organised to provide updates, share information, and plan action against the proposed Wollert Incinerator. This is our community’s chance to ask questions, hear the latest on the EPA’s development licence decision, and stand with others to protect our community.

📅 THIS SUNDAY, 31 August
1.00pm – 2.30pm
📍 Whittlesea Council Offices, 25 Ferres Blvd, South Morang
(New, larger venue!)

Agenda includes updates on the EPA decision, next steps in the process, a short documentary Burning Injustice, and action planning.

Bring neighbours, friends, local businesses – even real estate agents – and show your support with banners, posters, or artwork.

Be there. Be heard. Let’s protect Wollert’s future together.
