From Monday to Thursday, school will conclude at 2:15pm for both Primary and Secondary students. Friday dismissal times will remain unchanged.

The updated Ramadan bell times are attached for your reference. These arrangements will be implemented from Monday 23 February 2026 and will remain in place until the interim break commencing on 16 March 2026.

To minimise disruptions to learning, we kindly request that students are not collected earlier than the designated finish time, except in genuine extenuating circumstances, such as a medical appointment. In such cases, the early pick-up procedure must be followed.

BUS STUDENTS

The students will depart the College at 2:30pm Monday – Thursday so will arrive at their stops earlier than usual. Friday timings will remain the same.

EXTEND STUDENTS (AFTER SCHOOL CARE)

After-school care will be available by our external, Extend, for Primary school students from 2:15pm onwards during this period for families who are registered with Extend.

You can register your child/children here.

Al Siraat recently opened the gates of its much loved Mini Farm for a special Open Day, and it was truly heartwarming to see so many families come together to enjoy the afternoon on site.

The turnout from our school community was wonderful, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Families wandered through the farm, children’s faces lit up with excitement as they met our beloved animals, from chickens and goats to sheep, guinea pigs, and the ever popular mini cow, along with many other furry and feathered friends.

There was plenty to enjoy beyond the animals, with food available on the day and the much loved ice cream truck proving to be a highlight. A range of activities and fun experiences were set up for children, offering something for everyone.

The Farm Open Day was a beautiful reminder of what makes our ASC community so special, a shared love of learning beyond the classroom, connection to nature, and meaningful moments spent together. All proceeds from the Open Day were generously donated to the Masjid Salam fundraiser

We thank all families, staff, and volunteers who joined us and helped make the day such a success.

With hot summer days here now, we kindly ask our Al Siraat families to spare a moment for our native wildlife and pets. The high temperatures can be extremely challenging for birds, mammals, insects and even our own furry companions. If you are feeling the heat, so is the wildlife around you.

One of the simplest and most effective ways to help is by leaving shallow bowls of fresh water outside.

Tips to keep wildlife safe and hydrated:

  • Use only shallow bowls, so small animals do not drown
  • Add sticks, stones or a branch that reaches the edge of the bowl. This gives smaller creatures and insects a way out if they fall in
  • Avoid metal bowls, as these can heat up quickly and burn delicate feet or paws
  • Always place bowls in the shade and check them regularly to top up the water and ensure they remain cool.
  • Hose down trees and shrubs in the morning and evening or run a sprinkler for a short time during the day. This creates cool refuge spaces for wildlife.

Thank you for caring for our wildlife and for helping to make a difference during these hot summer days. Providing water and shelter for Allah’s creatures is an act of sadaqah, and every small effort counts. May Allah reward you for your kindness and compassion towards His creations.
