Make your voice count before it’s too late: Submissions are closing for the Victorian Parliamentary inquiry into waste incinerators on THIS FRIDAY, 3 April (Good Friday Public Holiday) – this is a critical moment for the Al Siraat community to be heard.
We encourage every parent, student, childcare centre, school, organisation and business to have their say: Your submission can help protect our families, health, and local environment from the impact of a 24/7 Cleanaway Incinerator on Summerhill Rd, Wollert.
This video highlights why so many are deeply concerned about the proposed Wollert Waste Incinerator and its potential impact on our health, environment, and future generations.

Our Year 3 Sleepover was a fantastic experience filled with laughter, exciting activities, and memorable moments. Students took part in a range of fun challenges that encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity.
Our Year 3’s enjoyed roasting marshmallows, eating pizza together, and settling in for the night in their sleeping bags, making the experience even more special.
Throughout the night, they showed great resilience when faced with unexpected situations and embraced opportunities to build their independence. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they supported one another and made the most of this special experience.
The fun continued with a park adventure at the playground, finishing the sleepover on a high note. It was truly a special experience that created lasting memories and strengthened friendships.

We are pleased to announce that we are planning to continue the Youth Halaqa Programs in Term 2 and 3. These sessions aim to provide a supportive and engaging space for our young people to connect, reflect, and grow in their understanding of Islam while building strong, positive relationships with their peers.
With the support of parent volunteers, we are looking to expand and strengthen the program, following the success of previous halaqa sessions.
Please note that all volunteers must hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
We warmly invite volunteers to support this initiative. Your involvement, whether through assisting with activities, supervising young people or helping set up and pack up, will be very valuable in making these events open to more young people in our community.
