We are pleased to include our weekly canteen menu in our Friday newsletter to help families plan and pre-order lunches with ease. Each edition will feature the menu for the upcoming week, making it simple to stay organised.
We hope this service supports your weekly routine and ensures your child enjoys a fresh and tasty lunch from our College Canteen.
Last Friday, we were delighted to host our Annual Primary Sports Carnival and School Fun Run, which are always one of the top highlights on our school events calendar, bringing together students, staff, and families for a day filled with energy, teamwork, and community spirit.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all families who took the time to attend and support this special event. It was wonderful to see a record number of parents and carers cheering on our students and sharing in their achievements.
We were truly blessed with beautiful weather, and the day began in a memorable way with the arrival of the Primary house captains and flag bearers, as Hamza Mayet rode in on horseback, setting an exciting tone for the celebrations ahead.
A sincere thank you to our dedicated staff - teachers, TAs, and all support staff – for ensuring the smooth running of the day and keeping everything on schedule. We also extend our appreciation to Br Zaffar and Br Musab for their efforts in preparing and maintaining the sports grounds.
Special thanks to our Parent and Friends Committee (PFC) for their ongoing support and presence throughout the day, and to Ms Tanja for once again capturing the highlights through her camera lens, preserving the spirit of the day for our community. We also acknowledge our outstanding PE Team – Mr Abdulrahman Taleb, Ms Allanah Abbas, Ms Rayann Rabah, Ms Franciscah Kisilu, Ms Safiye Asanova, Mr Sheikh Luqmahn, Mr Adam Ayoubi, and Ms Dilara Çaprak, along with her Sport and Recreation students, for their valuable assistance in setting up and packing down stations, and managing scoring and house points.
We also thank our wonderful food vendors (potato swirls, donuts, and coffee trucks), along with our canteen staff, for keeping our families well fed and refreshed throughout the day.
Congratulations to House Mina (Green) for taking out this year’s overall win, and well done to all houses for their outstanding effort, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship across every discipline.
We look forward to building on this success and welcoming everyone back for next year’s Sports Carnival, inShaAllah. We also invite you to browse our web gallery below to enjoy the many photos capturing the highlights of the day.

During their recent visit to the Immigration Museum, our Year 11 Foundation English students engaged in a rich and thought-provoking learning experience focused on identity and belonging.
Students engaged with a range of exhibits created by both recent and long-established immigrants, considering how elements such as language, clothing, family, and physical appearance shape individual identity. They also reflected on how these aspects are balanced alongside an Australian identity and sense of belonging.
Through guided activities, students applied their understanding and reflected on the ways different influences combine to form their own identities. The excursion provided a valuable insight into Australia’s multicultural identity and supported students in developing deeper personal and analytical understanding for their coursework.
Applications are now open for the Learning Enrichment Accelerated Program (LEAP) for students currently in Year 6 who will be entering Year 7 in 2027.
