We are excited to share that “Her Halaqa” will return in Term 3.
These evenings are a beautiful opportunity for sisters to come together in remembrance, reflection, and connection. Her Halaqa continues to be a special space to reconnect, recharge, and support one another in a warm and welcoming environment.
We have two more sessions left for this term on the following Fridays:
All sisters are most welcome to attend, and no registration is required – simply come along.
Children also welcome with their mum or guardian but must be supervised by their parent. No child minding is available.
If you would like to be part of this uplifting experience, please register your interest by joining our WhatsApp group for updates and reminders:
Come as you are and leave with a heart full of peace, purpose, and sisterly connection.
Census Night is Tuesday, 11 August. Every response helps shape Australia’s future, including funding and services that support our communities over the next five years.
For Muslim Australians, an accurate Census count can help improve access to culturally appropriate services, community support, mosque security initiatives, halal food relief, burial services, and programs that respond to Islamophobia.
When completing the Census, remember to select "Islam" when answering the question about religion. Every response contributes to a clearer picture of where our community lives and grows, helping organisations better understand needs, plan services, and reach families who may otherwise miss out on support.
Please take a moment to view the accompanying slides, kindly provided by the Islamic Council of Victoria (ICV), for more information about why participating in the Census is so important.
