Mini Nachar will be joining our young men for an engaging session combining faith, discipline, resilience, goal-setting and the importance of maintaining a strong mind and body. He will also be running a kickboxing clinic as a part of the Boys Halaqa program.
His journey as a world champion offers a powerful opportunity for our students to hear firsthand about the dedication, perseverance and commitment required to achieve excellence.

Are you looking for a fun evening for girls aged 7 to 14? MYSisters is hosting its first Tote Bag Night, offering girls the opportunity to get creative, make new friends and enjoy an evening of sisterhood.
Participants will design and decorate their own tote bag using a range of craft supplies, with an icebreaker to help everyone feel welcome and a gallery walk at the end to celebrate their creations. Dinner is also included.

Could you write a story that makes people see kangaroos differently? Kangaroos Alive is inviting young writers from both Primary and Secondary to get creative for World Kangaroo Day on 24 October.
Your story could be told from a kangaroo’s perspective, follow a joey growing up, explore a mob surviving a changing world, feature a rescued kangaroo, or go completely off the rails. Fantasy, science fiction, adventure, comedy, drama – it’s completely up to you.
The organisers are looking for stories that show kangaroos as more than just an Australian icon, but as animals with families, relationships, personalities and lives of their own.
The challenge is simple:

- Length: 800 to 1,500 words
- Focus: Celebrate, explore, imagine and inspire.

Are you looking for a meaningful and fun way for your teenager to spend the September school holidays? YMA’s Annual Junior Camp is coming up from 28 September to 2 October 2026 for young Muslims aged 12 to 15.
For more than 30 years, YMA has been running national camps for young Muslims across Australia. The camps provide a welcoming environment where young people can make new friendships, enjoy engaging activities, explore their Islamic values and strengthen their connection with their faith.
Many friendships formed at YMA camps have lasted a lifetime, making the experience an opportunity to connect with other young Muslims while learning and growing together.

The myLearners Free Driving Lesson program offers a FREE 60-minute lesson with a professional driving instructor for learners aged 16 – 21 who have completed 10 – 50 hours of driving practice.
The lesson is taken alongside their supervising driver, helping both the learner and supervisor build safer, more confident driving habits together.
This program supports families by making the learning experience more positive and less stressful. It aims to reduce crash risks for young drivers, strengthen supervising skills, and encourage safer driving behaviours early on all at no cost to participants.
