2019 Sports Carnival
The Sports and Athletic Carnivals are two of the major Health and Physical Education school events. With activities for all year levels, these programs are conducted over two whole days and planned during Term 2 and Term 4.
Our 2019 Sports Carnival was held on Friday, 22 March.
Students represented their house teams, which include Team Marwa (Yellow), Safa (Red), Mina (Green) and Arafat (Blue). The Sports Carnival is exclusively sports and novelty activities, where as the Athletics Carnival is specific to track and field events.

2018 Annual Sports Carnival
Every year, our annual Al Siraat College Sports Carnival has been getting bigger and better, mashaAllah. in 2018, for the first time in College history, we were able to hold the Sports Carnival and School Fun Run on the NEW sports field right here at Al Siraat.
The day was spectacular to say the least. All students from Foundation all the way up to Year 12 took part with great excitement and enthusiasm. As you can see below, the photos taken on the day say it all. We had parents, teachers and the local community joining the action as well.
The students had to compete in a number of traditional games at the stations set up for them. After our traditional games were completed, our Junior School students took park in 3 additional activities which were the
- School Fun Run
- Tug of War and
- Jumping castles.
The Middle and Senior Years had a volleyball and basketball tournament as well as down ball and Tug of war.
It was a day to remember and the history goes on for the House that gets the most points of the day which will have its name engraved on the College's Sports Carnival Plaque.
Congratulations to House Mina (GREEN) for winning the 2018 Sports Carnival. Good luck to all houses for next Sports Carnival.
2018 Secondary Athletics Carnival
Our annual Athletics Carnival for Secondary School was a huge success with students and staff once again.
Our Secondary students from Years 7 to 12 participated in a variety of track events. We even had Batman, two avocados and the Super Mario Brothers Luigi and Mario cheering our students on and participating themselves.
We had high levels of student participation, as well as student conduct and behaviour was mostly in line with our College values, making the event even more enjoyable for all. We could not have asked for better weather conditions, alhamdulillah.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms Layal and the PE staff for the outstanding organisation of this year’s Athletics Carnival. We would also like to acknowledge the amazing efforts of all staff involved. Your hard work in the warm spring weather and enthusiasm throughout the day was highly commendable.
