Al Siraat participated in Independent Schools Victoria’s inaugural “Student Art Exhibition” at the Shell House Gallery in Melbourne’s CBD on 26 July 2017. Our College has the privilege of exhibiting 14 art works from students across the Junior and Senior Schools. It is also a very first for our students to showcase their art works in a major exhibition.
On a night where everyone came together to celebrate creativity and expression, the gallery was full with teachers, parents and students from Independent Schools across Victoria. It was a proud day for the families involved in the exhibition. Some took time off from work and others brought along the whole family with them. Everyone was full of smiles as they walked through the art gallery admiring the beautiful artworks on display.
Al Siraat College received positive feedback from the organisers regarding our artworks which has undergone a rigorous selection process prior this the exhibition. A big thank you to the Art teachers and students for making all this possible. We look forward to next year’s exhibition and making this a permanent event in our calendar.
