Students with an interest in engineering, design, innovation or problem solving are invited to take part in an exciting School Holiday Engineering Bootcamp hosted by the Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) at its Melbourne campus.
Designed for Year 9 and 10 students, this immersive, hands on workshop introduces participants to the world of engineering through a real world Design and Prototyping Challenge. Working alongside expert facilitators, students will apply creative design thinking and practical engineering principles to develop a concept and transform it into a functional prototype.
No prior engineering experience is required. The bootcamp is designed to provide a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment where students can build confidence, creativity and valuable problem solving skills.
Event Details
The registration fee includes all learning materials, a certificate of participation and afternoon tea. Students should bring their own lunch and water bottle. Please advise EIT of any food allergies when registering.
Places are limited to ensure a high quality, hands on experience..
