25 June: Free Anti Racism Training Workshop

22 June 2026

Our College community is warmly invited to attend an Anti Racism Training Workshop hosted by the City of Whittlesea and facilitated by Victoria University on Thursday, 25 June 2026.

25 June: Free Anti Racism Training Workshop

The workshop has been developed in response to extensive community research, which identified the need for greater awareness of racism reporting pathways, improved access to support services, and increased confidence in recognising and responding to racism.

Guided by the Islamic values of justice, compassion and respect for all people, Al Siraat encourages our community to engage in opportunities that strengthen our collective ability to challenge racism, promote understanding, and help create communities where everyone feels safe, valued and included.

Designed for community leaders and representatives, the session will explore practical strategies for identifying and addressing racism, understanding local and state wide reporting mechanisms, strengthening referral pathways, and promoting cultural inclusion within our organisations and the wider community.

We encourage all interested members of our community to take part in this important initiative.
