Our Al Siraat community is warmly invited to take part in Earth Hour 2026 THIS Saturday, a global initiative led by the World Wildlife Fund.
Let us come together to support the “Biggest Hour for Earth” and show that even one hour can make a difference. Earth Hour is a powerful reminder that small, collective actions can create meaningful change. By switching off non-essential lights and appliances, we stand united in support of environmental protection, climate action, and the preservation of our natural world.
🗓 Saturday, 28 March 2026🕣 8:30pm to 9:30pm
In Islam, we are taught that the Earth is Amanah (a trust) from Allah (SWT), and we have a responsibility to protect it. Small, mindful actions (like conserving energy, reducing waste, and caring for nature) reflect our duty as stewards of Allah’s creation and our commitment to leaving the world better for future generations.
How you can take part:
As we mark 20 years of global action, with a renewed focus on nature and biodiversity, let us reflect on our role as caretakers of the Earth, fulfilling our Islamic responsibility to protect and preserve Allah’s creation, and model conscious, sustainable choices for our children.
