Hifz Award Assembly

Hifz Award Assembly

Asalaamu Alaikum,

SubhanAllah, we are almost at the end of Term 1! Time is passing very fast and we need to make the most of every moment. One way to do that is to set a target for daily Quran reading. Allah Ta’ala loves the act of worship that is consistent, even if it is a small amount. Decide on an amount that is achievable on a daily basis and keep to it – even if it is one or two pages. Reading so that your children can hear you will also act as encouragement for them.

Please also encourage your children to read slowly, clearly and with a beautiful voice. It has been narrated in a Hadith that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam said: Beautify the Quran with your voices. For indeed, a beautiful voice adds to the beauty of the Quran.

Last week we had our first Hifz Award Assembly, in which students were given prizes based on their academic achievement, improvement and behaviour. The students were very excited to receive the awards. We look forward to having another such assembly next term, insha’Allah.
