We are thrilled to celebrate one of our very own students, Mostapha Rjoub from Grade 4, who has been recognised for his outstanding soccer talent. Mostapha has achieved an incredible milestone by being selected for the Melbourne Victory U10’s team – making him our youngest rising star in the sport!
Below is a reflection on his journey, shared in his own words:
"A few weeks ago I went to Gold Coast for a tournament with Melbourne Victory’s U10’s team.
When I arrived I was allocated a hotel room and it was right on the beach.
The first day I went to Dream World with my team and had so much fun.
The next day was day 1 of the tournament, and we played 3 games.
Day 2 we played another 3 games in Group Stage .
On day 3, we made it to the quarter finals, and lost on penalties. We stayed and cheered for the other U10’s, as they won the tournament.
It was a very good experience. I made a lot of friends, met new people and I learnt how to be independent."
We are incredibly proud of Mostapha and his remarkable achievement. His dedication, passion, and talent are an inspiration to our school community. We look forward to watching his journey unfold and wish him all the very best as he continues to pursue his soccer dreams!
