Our Student Representative Council (SRC) would like to remind the community that the “Syria Winter Campaign 2018” is closing TODAY, Friday, 31 August 2018.
We are running the campaign in partnership with the Australian Syrian Association Victoria (ASAV), a non-profit organisation. More than 3 million refugees and another 6.5 million internally displaced people will need humanitarian aid, this fast approaching winter season in Syria.
All you have to do is to donate NEW clothing items, blankets, sleeping bags, first aids, toiletries, stationery items either as bulk or gift bags. Our Aim is to pack more than 100 container bags for Syria. No glass, metal or sharp items allowed.
Deadline: Friday, 31 August 2018
The ASAV would appreciate a small donation of $5 only to go towards the shipping container costs to Syria. Donations can be deposited at the College, using the reference “Syria Winter”.
If it is not possible for you to go out to the shops and purchase any of the items above, you could also make a financial contribution directly to Ms Noori or via online donation:
