Programs Community Engagement
In 2026, Team Al Siraat proudly celebrates 14 consecutive years of supporting the Great Cycle Challenge Australia. Led by our Team Captain, Ms Tanja Kubitza, an official Ambassador and All Star of the Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI), we have proudly been part of this inspiring movement since its very beginning in 2013.
Every October, more than 100,000 riders across Australia take part in the Great Cycle Challenge, riding millions of kilometres and raising vital funds for CMRI’s life saving childhood cancer research. Together, Team Al Siraat has contributed over $55,000, helping fund better treatments and, inShaAllah, a cure.
In Australia, childhood cancer remains the leading disease related cause of death for children. More than 700 children are diagnosed each year, and every week, three young lives are lost.
These are more than statistics. They are precious children with dreams, families, and futures worth fighting for.
Every kilometre we ride is for the children bravely facing cancer, for the families who never give up hope, and for a future where no child has to endure this devastating disease.
Your support can bring hope to children and families when they need it most. Every donation, no matter the size, helps fund vital research and brings us one step closer to a world without childhood cancer.
Together, we can help save little lives.
