A morning tea to thank our wonderful parent volunteers was hosted by the College earlier today to come together and celebrate the hard work and ongoing dedication of our Parents and Friends Community (PFC) under the Presidency of Ms Ridayu.
The PFC have been actively helping and supporting our school community on countless occasions, from running bake sale fundraisers, assisting with school excursions, hosting the annual Pre-Eid craft market and helping out at the Book and Science fairs to sewing the extraordinary costumes used by our students in the Golden Age production. The sisters are always winning to help in any capacity, even organising food for unwell members of our school community or anyone undergoing hardships, mashaAllah.
The College Executive Team as well as Ms Rachael, Ms Gulhan and Ms Tanja all expressed their heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful parent volunteers. Ms Rahat also reminded us of the Hadith, “He who does not thank the people is not thankful to Allah” (Sunan Abi Dawud 4811).
This year’s morning tea was extra special as we bid farewell to long serving PFC member Sr Nisreen who is departing for new adventures abroad with her family and will be dearly missed.
