Our Year 5/6 boys worked extremely hard in the games they played and progressed to the Finals for this year's Primary School Cup Challenge.
This is the first time Al Siraat College has made it to the Finals for AFL. The boys have been working on their tactics to improve consistency in the way they play offensive and defensive structures. Other key areas we worked on were
- playing the way you face
- encouraging your team mates and
- manning up on your opponent.
The boys lost their first 2 games by only under 10 points each but WON their 3rd game. Sadly, they lost the final game which won the overall cup on the day.
We are very proud of all the boys' tremendous efforts! Al Siraat has truly come a long way in sports, mashaAllah!
