In our great relationship with our neighbours St. Monica’s College, Al Siraat had a friendly match of hockey against their students.
The participants who represented our College were selected from Years 7 to 10 on the basis of their hard work and commitment in class, following our College values and showing good sportsmanship.
The Year 7/8 boys team played against St. Monica’s Hockey Academy and were defeated 2:0. Along with the Year 9/10’s, Team Al Siraat put up a great challenge to the St Monica’s Hockey Academy team, resulting in a mere 3:1 loss. Both teams showed great sportsmanship and team spirit. The boys really enjoyed this experience as most of them had never played field hockey before.
On behalf of Al Siraat College, I would like to commend the selected Senior boys on their great effort and like to add that I am very proud of them. Furthermore, we wish our Year 7 to 10 Girls Team all the best for their match against St. Monica's on next week's Wednesday, 25th May, inShaAllah.
