SRC Year 12 Farewell Celebration

23 October 2023

The Student Representative Council (SRC) recently organised an unforgettable event to bid farewell to our Year 12 students. On Friday, 20th October 2023, the entire Secondary School gathered for this momentous occasion.

Principal Mr Fazeel, Mr Vis, Mr Mohammed Azim and Ms Yamna Waraich (Year 12 homegroup teachers) and Student Leadership Coordinator Ms Noori delivered inspiring speeches filled with wisdom and best wishes for the Class of 2023.

Our outgoing 2023 College Captains, Osama Akkad, and Zainab Alhendawi, left a lasting impact with their heartfelt valedictory speeches, touching the hearts of the entire assembly, comprising Secondary students and staff.

The Student Council took the opportunity to acknowledge and commend the Year 12 House Captains, Class Monitors, Indigenous Outreach Leaders and SRC members with well-deserved awards.

Values-In-Action (VIA) certificates and awards were presented to the Year 12 cohort who have completed their required voluntary service hours. This program not only allows them to graduate from the College but also empowers them to make a positive impact on their careers and in society. The program plays a pivotal role in shaping our students into socially responsible individuals with a global perspective and a strong commitment to giving back to the community.

Sheikh Waseem graced the occasion with a moving Islamic talk, concluding the ceremony with a heartfelt du’a.

As they embark on their new journey, we extend our warmest wishes to our graduating Year 12 class for a prosperous and successful future.
