Plan for Return To On Site Learning

The Victorian Government has updated its advice in relation to the re-opening of schools for on-site learning.

As a school, we have been following the advice of Victorian Chief Health Officer. Professor Sutton (our Chief Health Officer) said he agreed that schools could re-open soon, with extra hygiene measures in place. "From a public health point of view, I don't have an issue with schools reopening” he said. He further mentioned that “my advice clearly is that prior to the end of term 2, there can be a reopening”.

Based on this advice, we have commenced preparing a return to school plan that takes into account our legal obligations, risk assessment, and the needs of our school community (thank you for all those survey responses).

Please note that the announcements made today in the media in relation to schools re-opening is for Victorian State schools only. I will update you with our plan, including commencement dates for on-site learning once it is finalised.
