Our Parents & Friends Community (PFC) are looking for new committee members for 2023.
The PFC assists with planning social and fundraising events, and volunteering within our school community. Being a part of the PFC is a rewarding way to be involved in the school community and a great way to get to know other families in the school.
The PFC is run by a committee and involved with the coordination of many events and activities run at the College for both students and parents. Being on the committee is a meaningful and fulfilling role, and dedicated committee members are highly sought after.
If you are in a position to give back to your community, we strongly encourage you to join our PFC committee. You would need a volunteer Working With Children Check (WWCC) and be able to join us once a term for our planning meetings.
Some activities our PFC are involved with include:
- Sausage sizzles
- Working bees
- Fundraising
- Sports days
- Excursions
- Assisting in classes
- Preparing for Eid market
- Organising parent social events and activities.
Our children love seeing their parents involved at school, and it helps them feel connected to school. Many long-lasting friendships have formed through the PFC, and it is a wonderful way to get to know others in our school community.
