School Vaccination for Year 7 and 10 Students

2 April 2024
School Vaccination for Year 7 and 10 Students

A trained vaccination team will be visiting Al Siraat on Tuesday, 23rd April to offer free vaccines to Secondary students in Year 7 & Year 10 through the provider of School-Based Vaccination, Whittlesea Council.

On Tuesday, 23rd April 2024

  • Year 7 students will be offered: One dose of HPV vaccine® and one dose of DTP
  • Year 10 students will be offered: One dose of Nimenrix vaccine® (meningococcal ACWY).

The physical cards for consent have been replaced by online system.

Parents have to use THIS LINK or the attached QR code to register and provide consent or non-consent for vaccinations.

The Council encourages families to respond with either "I Consent" or "I do not Consent".

Please note, this link/code is valid for both our Year 7 AND Year 10 visits – parents will be prompted at the beginning of the registration to click which year level their child is in and therefore the vaccine information will be relevant for that year level. For families with additional children in multiple year levels, they will be able to provide consent under the one registration.

It is important that you read the information contained in the consent card before you give consent for your child to be vaccinated at school.

Even if you do not want your child to be vaccinated, please do log in and opt for "I do not Consent", complete the form and submit.
