Al Siraat’s Year 5/6 AFL team has displayed significant improvement throughout the 2017 SSV (School Sports Victoria) Program.
All players have been focusing on their own ‘selfless acts’ and attempting to make their team mate ‘the best player on the field, not themselves’. Players have been selected based on good behaviour at school. This has resulted in fantastic wins over each team they have played this season. The boys from Year 6 have welcomed the Year 5 boys into the team, admirably displaying the school values.
Their latest win during Ramadan has highlighted what can be achieved with team work and determination: MashAllah Boys!
